Aloft is located in the ever expanding Short Pump area of Glen Allen, VA.  The hotel is located on the second floor of the shopping district where stores and restaurants are on the street level below.  Starwood's prototypical Aloft renovation was implemented in the commercial areas and the guest corridors.  A mixture of grey, blue, and orange is seen through out these spaces to keep a modern look with large open spaces for the global traveler with an open mind.  APEX Studios created a custom design for the guestrooms featuring custom artwork paying homage to Richmond, VA.  The room design features purple accents on a gray palette.
